ABSTRAK Izza, Khuzaimatul. 2023. Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Dalam Meningkatkan Kognitif Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Fikih Di MI Nurul Huda Kecamatan Ngajum Malang. Skripsi, Jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam. Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Ma’had Aly al-Hikam Malang. Pembimbing: Muhammad Syauqillah S.E M.E. Kata Kunci : Kurikulum Merdeka, Kognitif Siswa, Mata Pelajaran Fikih. Implementasi kurikulum merdeka sudah dilaksanakan di sekolah-sekolah di Indonesia pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Kurikulum merdeka merupakan upaya pemulihan pembelajaran yang lebih berfokus pada siswa. Kurikulum merdeka memberikan kesempatan kepada guru untuk lebih leluasa dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode-metode yang sesuai dengan pembelajaran yang dibutuhkan. Sehingga kognitif siswa dapat meningkat dalam mendalami konsep dan menguatkan kompetensi sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan minat belajarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) proses pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka dalam meningkatkan kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran Fikih di MI Nurul Huda (2) hambatan pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka dalam meningkatkan kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran fikih di MI Nurul Huda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis deskriptif kualitatif yaitu dilakukan melalui tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Sedangkan keabsahan data diperkuat dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka di MI Nurul Huda dilakukan dengan menerapkan beberapa karakteristik kurikulum merdeka. Dalam penerapan ini guru berupaya menggunakan metode yang sesuai dalam pembelajaran. Sehingga dapat meningkatkan kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran fikih. Salah satu program yang dilakukan oleh guru PAI yaitu kegiatan pembelajaran kitab Masailun Nisa'. (2) Hambatan yang dialami dalam upaya meningkatkan kognitif siswa yaitu kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang kurikulum merdeka, beberapa guru yang sudah berusia lanjut, guru kesulitan dalam menerapkan pembelajaran terdiferensiasi, serta sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai.   ABSTRACT Izza, Khuzaimatul, 2023. Advisor : Muhammad Syauqillah S.E M.E Keywords: Curriculum Merdeka, Student Cognition, Fiqh Subjects The implementation of the independent curriculum has been implemented in Indonesian schools in the 2022/2023 school year. The independent curriculum is an effort to restore learning that focuses more on students. The independent curriculum provides opportunities for teachers to be more free in developing learning tools by using methods that are in accordance with the learning needed. So that students' cognitive can increase in exploring concepts and strengthening competencies according to their learning needs and interests. This research aims to find out: (1) the process of implementing an independent curriculum in improving student cognition in the subject of fiqh at MI Nurul Huda (2) obstacles to the implementation of an independent curriculum in improving student cognition in the subject of fiqh at MI Nurul Huda. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation techniques. The qualitative descriptive analysis is carried out through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing or verification. While the validity of the data is strengthened by using data triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the implementation of the independent curriculum at MI Nurul Huda is carried out by applying several characteristics of the independent curriculum. In this application, teachers try to use appropriate methods in learning. So that it can improve students' cognitive in the subject of fiqh. One of the programmes carried out by PAI teachers is the learning activity of the Masailun Nisa' book. (2) The obstacles experienced in efforts to improve student cognition are the lack of teacher understanding of the independent curriculum, some teachers who are elderly, teachers have difficulty in implementing differentiated learning, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure.
