Abstract

ABSTRAK Indraswari, Rivani Febriyanti. 2023. Strategi Discovery Learning dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Ahmad Yani Jabung Kabupaten Malang. Skripsi, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Ma’had Aly Al Hikam Malang. Pembimbing: Laily Abida, M.Psi, Psikolog. Kata Kunci: Strategi, Discovery Learning, Mutu Pembelajaran Pokok masalah pada penelitian ini adalah membahas tentang penerapan strategi Discovery Learning dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Ahmad Yani Jabung, yang pada awalnya gaya belajar peserta didik pada saat pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Ahmad Yani Jabung bertumpu pada pendidik (teacher centered). Di mana yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik di kelas hanya mendengarkan penjelasan, mencatat dan mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan oleh pendidik, yang mana dalam hal ini pembelajaran hanya bertumpu pada pendidik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi Discovery Learning di SMK Ahmad Yani Jabung, untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam strategi Discovery Learning dalam peningkatan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Ahmad Yani Jabung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data diambil dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi, diantaranya Triangulasi Sumber, Triangulasi Teknik dan Triangulasi Waktu. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah bahwa strategi Discovery Learning dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Ahmad Yani Jabung ada tiga proses yaitu, Pra Pembelajaran, Proses Pembelajaran, dan Penilaian. Faktor pendukung strategi Discovery Learning bisa diterapkan di SMK Ahmad Yani Jabung adalah adanya dukungan dari pihak sekolah, tersedianya materi atau sumber belajar untuk pendidik dan peserta didik serta peserta didik ikut berpartipisasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di kelas. Dan faktor penghambatnya adalah tidak adanya ruang laboratorium Pendidikan Agama Islam, karakter dan daya tangkap peserta didik yang berbeda-beda dan kendala waktu pembelajaran dikelas yang terbatas. Advisor: Laily Abida, M.Psi, Psikolog Keywords: Strategy, Discovery Learning, Learning Quality The subject matter of this research is to discuss the application of the Discovery Learning strategy in learning Islamic Religious Education at SMK Ahmad Yani Jabung, which initially the learning style of students during Islamic Religious Education learning at SMK Ahmad Yani Jabung rests on the educator (teacher centered). Where what students do in class is only listening to explanations, taking notes and doing assignments given by educators, which in this case learning only relies on educators. The purpose of this research is to find out the application of the Discovery Learning strategy at SMK Ahmad Yani Jabung, to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in the Discovery Learning strategy in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning at SMK Ahmad Yani Jabung. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data was taken by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. Data validity checking uses triangulation, including Source Triangulation, Technique Triangulation and Time Triangulation The conclusion of the research is that the Discovery Learning strategy in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning at SMK Ahmad Yani Jabung has three processes, namely, Pre-Learning, Learning Process, and Assessment. Supporting factors for the Discovery Learning strategy to be applied at SMK Ahmad Yani Jabung are the support of the school, the availability of materials or learning resources for educators and students and students participate in Islamic Religious Education learning activities in the classroom. And the inhibiting factors are the absence of an Islamic Religious Education laboratory room, the character and capture capacity of different students and the constraints of limited class learning time.
