Abstract
The success educational goals heavily depends on the learning process experienced by students. In relation to efforts to improve student learning outcomes, particularly in the subject of IPAS on the topic of plant parts, teachers are required to utilize various appropriate teaching methods and models. Currently, learning predominantly employs the lecture method, which is less engaging for students, consequently impacting their learning outcomes negatively. This research aims to investigate student learning outcomes before and after implementing the time token learning model in the IPAS subject, specifically on the topic of plant parts, for fourth-grade A students at MI Al-Hidayat Pakis Malang. The time token learning model is expected to make learning more interactive, engaging, and easier for students to comprehend. The research method employed in this study is CAR with a cyclical model. The research subjects are fourth-grade A students at MI Al-Hidayat Pakis. The research is conducted in two cycles, with each cycle concluding with a test to assess the improvement in learning outcomes. Data collection techniques include tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The research results demonstrate a significant improvement in student learning outcomes. The attitude assessment shows that there are 29 students who received an A grade with a final score of 9-12, and 4 students received a B grade with a final score of 8. Thus, when expressed as a percentage, 88% of students received an A grade and 12% received a B grade. The psychomotor assessment indicates that there are 27 students who received an A grade with a final score of 7-9, and 6 students received a B grade with a final score of 5-6. Therefore, in percentage terms, 82% of students received an A grade and 18% received a B grade. The average student score has also improved in the cognitive assessment. The average student scores increased from the first cycle to the second cycle. Out of 33 students in the pre-cycle, 17 students or 52% achieved success with scores above 73. In cycle I, 21 students or 63% achieved success with scores above 73. In cycle II, 27 students or 82% achieved the success indicator with scores above 73. This indicates that the implementation of the time token learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes, particularly in the topic of plant parts in fourth-grade A at MI Al-Hidayat Pakis.
