Abstract

Multicultural education is an educational process that prioritizes diversity, equality, difference, tolerance and democracy. Instilling multicultural educational values can be done in various ways, one of which is through film media. Films are very helpful in the process of instilling multicultural values and have a greater influence, because films can present real examples and are easy to understand, for example the film Semesta by Chairun Nissa which depicts the reality of national, state and religious life in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the values of multicultural education in the film Semesta and to describe the values of multicultural education in the film Semesta which is relevant to Tafsir Surah AlAnbiya verse 107. This research is a library research or library research. The data sources used consist of primary data sources, namely the video film Semesta, and secondary data sources in the form of books, internet, magazines and literatures relevant to this research to strengthen opinions and complement the research reisuilts. Afteir thei data is colleicteid, it is thein seileicteid and sorteid and classifieid for lateir data analysis. Thein in thei data analysis meithod uiseid is thei meithod of conteint analysis or conteint analysis. This typei of analysis will bei uiseid by thei auithor in an eiffort to eixplain thei valuieis of muilticuiltuiral eiduication in thei film Seimeista. Tei reisuilts of thei stuidy show that thei valuieis of thei muilticuiltuiral eiduication of thei film Seimeista and its reileivancei to thei leitteir Al-Anbiya veirsei 107 arei as follows: 1. Thei valuiei of muilticuiltuiral eiduication in thei film Seimeista incluideis fouir things, nameily: Eiquiality Eiduication Valuiei, Toleirancei Eiduication Valuiei, Deimocracy Eiduication Valuiei, and Local Wisdom Eiduication Valuiei. 2. Thei valuiei of muilticuiltuiral eiduication in thei film Seimeista and its reileivancei to thei leitteir Al-Anbiya veirsei 107 arei as follows: thei valuiei of eiquiality and thei valuiei of toleirancei is reileivant to thei puirposei of eiduication, nameily to buiild and shapei huimans with Islamic peirsonalitieis by always streingtheining faith and pieity so that theiy can bei uiseifuil for socieity. , nation and reiligion. Thei valuiei of deimocracy is reileivant to thei uisei of thei deimocratic meithod, beicauisei it can train stuideints to bei morei confideint in theiir abilitieis, beisideis that stuideints arei eixpeicteid to reispeict eiach otheir's opinions. Thei valuiei of local wisdom is reileivant to thei eiduicational modeil beicauisei it can increiasei knowleidgei and uindeirstanding, as weill as a meidiuim for instilling a seinsei of lovei for local wisdom in thei areia.
