Kata Kunci: pembelajaran kontekstual, kecerdasan spiritual Pendidikan merupakan salah satu bagian yang terpenting dalam perkembangan zaman, sehingga pendidikan dapat mengubah pola fikir para masyarakat dari yang awam menjadi lebih modern. Kemampuan seorang guru dalam pendidikan juga sangat penting. Peran guru dalam menciptakan kondisi pembelajaran berperan menentukan keberhasilan peserta didik dalam belajar. Tidak hanya pendidikan umum pendidikan agama juga sangat penting. Pendidikan ini dapat diperoleh dari pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang terdapat pada mata pelajaran sekolah. Salah satu cara untuk mempelajari ilmu PAI dengan mudah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kontekstual. Perpaduan guru dan murid dalam metode ini diharapkan dapat menambah pemahaman dalam mata pelajaran ini. Metode ini diharapkan dapat mencetak siswa dengan kecerdasan spiritual. Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai identifikasi dan menganalisis dampak dari pembelajaran kontekstual dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam terhadap peningkatan kecerdasan spiritual peserta didik di SMP Islam Raden Paku Surabaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran kontekstual peserta didik di SMP Islam Raden Paku Surabaya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran kontekstual mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP Islam Raden Paku Surabaya. Adapun jenis dari penelitian ini adalah menggunakan jenis penelitian studi kasus atau case study. Pengumpulan data menggunakan cara observasi dan wawancara. Pengecekan keabsahan data dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber, sehingga dapat diperoleh data yang valid. Hasil dari penelitian ini mampu menjawab rumusan dua rumusan masalah: pertama pembelajaran kontekstual mata pelajaran PAI di SMP Islam Raden Paku Surabaya yaitu melalui kegiatan pembelajaran kontekstual menemukan, masyarakat belajar, pemodelan, serta refleksi, menekankan berbagai materi dengan kehidupan sehari-hari atau realita kehidupan sehingga memberikan motivasi terhadap peserta didik agar memahami makna materi ajar dan mengaitkannya kedalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kedua Pembelajaran Kontekstual Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Untuk Meningkatkan Kecerdasan Spiritual di SMP Islam Raden Paku Surabaya melalui meningkatnya keimanan peserta didik seperti Istiqomah, berbudi pekerti baik, mempunyai hubungan yang baik, serta sopan santun. Keywords: contextual learning, spiritual intelligence Education is one of the most important parts in the development of the era, so that education can change the mindset of the community from the layman to more modern. The ability of a teacher in education is also very important. The role of teachers in creating learning conditions plays a role in determining the success of students in learning. Not only general education, religious education is also very important. This education can be obtained from Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons found in school subjects. One way to learn PAI easily is to apply a contextual learning model. The combination of teachers and students in this method is expected to increase understanding in this subject. This method is expected to produce students with spiritual intelligence. The main objective of this study is to identify and analyze the impact of contextual learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects on improving students' spiritual intelligence at Raden Paku Islamic Junior High School, Surabaya. This study was conducted to determine the contextual learning of students at Raden Paku Islamic Junior High School, Surabaya. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of contextual learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects at Raden Paku Islamic Junior High School, Surabaya. This type of research uses a case study or case study type of research. Data collection uses observation and interviews. Checking the validity of the data using source triangulation, so that valid data can be obtained. The results of this research are able to answer two problem formulations: first, contextual learning for PAI subjects at Raden Paku Islamic Middle School, Surabaya, namely through contextual learning activities, finding, community learning, modeling and reflection, emphasizing various materials related to daily life or the reality of life so that provide motivation for students to understand the meaning of teaching material and relate it to everyday life. Secondly, Contextual Learning of Islamic Religious Education Subjects to Increase Spiritual Intelligence at Raden Paku Islamic Middle School Surabaya through increasing students' faith such as Istiqomah, good character, good relationships and good manners. And diligently worship.
