Abstract

Implementation of the Story Method in Fostering the Attitude of Love for Allah and the Apostles in Santri at TPQ Mamba'ul Hikam Malang, Thesis, Study Program of Islamic Education, Islamic High School "Ma'had Aly Al-Hikam" Malang. Supervisor: Zainul Arifin, M.Pd Keywords: Story method, love of Allah and the Apostle, Santri. This thesis discusses the implementation of the story method in fostering an attitude of love for Allah and the Apostle to students at TPQ Mamba'ul Hikam Malang, the story method is applied as a form of teaching that provides real examples to students through the characters in the story of the Apostle, the story method can also develop skills instilling morals, training memory and creative potential. The aims of this study are: 1) To describe the implementation of the story method in cultivating an attitude of love for Allah and the Apostle to students at TPQ Mamba'ul Hikam Malang, 2) To describe growing an attitude of love to Allah and the Apostle in students at TPQ Mamba'ul Hikam Malang, 3) To describe the advantages and disadvantages of the story method in cultivating an attitude of love for Allah and the Apostle to students at TPQ Mamba'ul Hikam Malang. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method with the type of case study research located at TPQ Mamba'ul Hikam. Collecting data using interview, observation and documentation methods. Data analysis used in this method is by condensing data, displaying data, giving conclusions and verifying data. The results of this study indicate that, 1) the implementation of the story method in fostering an attitude of love for Allah and the Apostle to students at TPQ Mamba'ul Hikam Malang, is implemented well. This is shown in the preparation of material delivery using storybooks and audio-visual props. 2) To cultivate an attitude of love for Allah and the Apostle to the students at TPQ Mamba'ul Hikam Malang, the teacher tells the stories of the Prophet, introduces the names of Allah, often prays, and conducts dialogues to instill faith in the students. 3) The advantages and disadvantages of the story method in growing the love of Allah and the Apostle at TPQ Mamba'ul Hikam, the advantages are that it can awaken and activate the spirit of students. The drawback is that it conditions students so they don't get bored.
